Three Owosso athletes qualified for the state finals next weekend at MIS (Michigan International Speedway) today by finishing in the top 15 at Regionals. In the boys' race Mason Collard ran a personal best 16:39 on his way to a 6th place finish while Jorden Sowash finished in 11th with a time of 16:50. Mirranda Libbey was our lone girls qualifier with an 8th place finish and a personal record time of 19:50. 

Our state qualifiers were not our only bright spots of the day. We had several athletes run personal best times. Mason Collard, Tyler Arriaga, Mirranda Libbey, Emily Summerland, Autumn Weir and Lauren Skinner all finished the day with PRs. Emma Perry also had a great race and season record time today. We are very proud of all of our runners today. As we are only graduating 2 girls and no boys, we are excited about what the future will bring for Owosso XC.
