WILLIAMSTON HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Owosso High School boys swimming tied for 5th with 129 points at the Williamston Invitational. Williamston won the event with a team score of 372 points.
Leading the way for the Trojans were the dive team of Ross Raatz and Brandon Steinley. Steinley placed 1st on the day with 94.90 points and Raatz placed 2nd with 86.05. Steinley and Raatz then teamed up for the dive relay and took 1st with a combined score of 172.20 points
In an exciting end to the day the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Garrett Hoag, Nathan Gute, Luke Wheeler and Parker Omer took 3rd in 1:46.66 narrowly being touched out by East Lansing by 2/10 of a second.
It was a great start to the season with many personal records set by all of the swimmers.
