CHESANING UNION HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Trojans got the season off to a cold and slow start vs. Chesaning. Congratulations goes out to our #4 doubles team of Lucy Popovitch and Gloria Perez-Pardo, taking down their opponent in three sets. They won 6-4, 0-6, then 10-3 in a super tiebreaker.
Some close losses came to our number one slot Alyssa Parsons 6-1, 2-6, then losing a super tiebreaker 8-10.
Another close loss came from the number two position with Kelsey Androkovich 4-6,6-2, then losing the super tiebreaker 2=10.
The Lady Trojans were excited to be back from Florida (most of the team) and look forward to practicing. For not seeing the tennis court until our first match, I felt they did a nice job tonight, despite the frigid temperatures!
