Wednesday was the final meet for all but two Owosso Trojan athletes (Lexi Martenis and Jorden Sowash) who will be competing on Saturday at the state finals. The Argus Press Champ of Champions Meet is a meet to crown the best athletes in Shiawassee County. Although some athletes choose to sit the meet out if they have the state finals coming up, there are still a ton of great competition. Our athletes competed well and we are very proud of all of their accomplishments over the course of this season. It is always hard to say goodbye to the seniors who have worked so hard and put in so much time. We thank you seniors, for everything, and we wish you nothing but good fortune in your next adventure. 

Athletes that finished in the top 3 and earned a medal include:

Lexi Martenis: 1st place long jump (16'7") and 3rd place 100m dash (13.32)

Mirranda Libbey: 3rd place 3200m run (12:25.54)

Hunter Blaha: 2nd place 200m dash (23.72)

Kaleb Anderson 2nd place long jump (19'1")
