Quote:
“As coaches, we could not have asked for a better game from our boys on our Senior Night. Both teams fought hard and it was a battle to the bitter end, but ultimately neither team could seal the game winner. Despite the tie, we could not be more proud of our team. Our team is, overall, pretty inexperienced at the Varsity level. The first two games this season have been major eye openers for us. Our players have a great attitude, they want to learn and they never give up. We look forward to watching our players as they continue to grow as individual players and as a team.”
Standout Performances:
Junior - Charles DeWeese played an outstanding game as our goalkeeper. In goal he made many great saves, his constant communication helped us to stay organized and his ability to read the field helped us to keep the ball moving in transition.
Sophomore - Hunter Babcock – With two great transitional runs with the ball, two great passes across the field, which ultimately lead to goals; Hunter is finding his groove with this team and he is proving to be a great leader.
Sophomore - Tyler Hufnagel – Tonight Tyler was a major force for us on the back line tonight and he had many saves for us on his own.
