Seven of Owosso's Varsity and Junior Varsity wrestlers stepped onto the mats at the John Harris Invitational in Shepherd this weekend. Of those four of our wrestlers placed and medaled in the event. Captains Tyler Dewley and Taylor Lange as well as Owen Ott and Zach Rye. The competition was stacked and full of top wrestler's and Owosso has 7 of them!
Some of the highlights from this weekend:
* Our team's athleticism and sportsmanship was complimented by Ref's and Coaches alike.
* Zach Rye weighs-in to wrestle at 175 but took on the challenge of the 190lb bracket. Goes on to medal.
* Our Wrestling Parents make sure we have the Best table of all the teams each tournament. The food and drinks are delicious and bountiful! They support their wrestlers with such great tenacity and excellence.
*Owen Ott proves determination and courage wins every time!
