The Owosso Boys Track and Field team competed in the Division 2 regional track meet tonight at Frankenmuth High School, taking 8^th place in the region with 30 points. Scoring performances included:

Tyler Hufnagel qualified for the Division 2 State Finals by repeating as the Regional Champion in the 300 m hurdles by taking 1^st with a time of 41.08; as well as qualifying for the State Finals in the 110 m hurdles by taking 2^nd with a time of 15.87. Tyler qualified for both events last year as well and has worked extremely hard and dedicated himself over the las year to return to the State Finals. Tyler will compete in both events on Saturday, June 3^rd at Forrest Hills Eastern High School.

Gavin Mecomber took 4^th place in the long jump with a PR jump of 20’3. He also took 4^th place in the high jump with a height of 5’7. Gavin rounded out the scoring by taking 8^th place in the 110 m hurdles with a time of 18.54.

The 4x400 m relay team of Matthew Shattuck, Max Baade, Simon Erfourth, and Tyler Hufnagel took 7^th with a PR time of 3:44.56.

Personal record performances included:

Max Baade in the 200 m dash with a time of 24.67.

Simon Erfourth in the 800 m run with a time of 2:13.69.

Clayton Brown in the 800 m run with a time of 2:17.34.

Simon Erfourth in the 1600 m run with a time of 4: 53.98.

Corey Gates in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:07.30.

Simon Erfourth in the 3200 m run with a time of 10:35.05.

Zach Rye in the discus with a throw of 126’2.

Isaac Williams in the discus with a throw of 118’5.
