Owosso Boys’ Varsity Soccer Ties Waverly 1-1 in a Hard Fought Defensive Battle

In the closing minutes of the game Riece Shattuck scored the first goal of the contest off of a deflection created by Sam Roose, earning him the assist.  Despite our best efforts defensively, Waverly was able to quickly mount a counter attack, which lead to a corner kick and subsequent goal.  Notable performances by the Trojan defensive line:  Jacob Wood, Andrew Savage, Parker Omer and Nolan Thews-Aguirre.  John Meihls showed another strong performance in goal with 6 saves.
