The Owosso High School Boys Swimming sunk the Ionia Bulldogs 100-71.  Owosso opened the night with the 200 Medley Relay team of Nathan Gute, Ross Raatz, Parker Omer and Justin Svarc who took 2nd place in 2:14.92.  Owosso then came back and swept the 200 Freestyle with Luke Wheeler taking 1st in 2:26.19. Brendan Coffman 2nd in 2:34.48 and Jacob Hall in 2:40.39.  Garrett Hoag took 2nd in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 3:08.74.  Owosso placed 1-3 in the 50 Freestyle as Parker Omer screamed to 1st in 25.09 and Nathan Gute placed 3rd in 28.46.  Owosso then swept the diving events as Brandon Steinley etched his name into the Owosso High School boys swimming history top 20 with a 1st place showing and scoring 217.90 points.  Ross Raatz took 2nd with 178.70 points and 3rd place went to Freshman diver Charles Deweese with a score of 115.00.  Autumn Weir took 1st place in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:59.37.  Garrett Hoag then came back and placed 2nd in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:03.01.  Owosso then 1-2 in the 500 Freestyle distance event with Brendan Coffman taking 1st in 7:14.84 and Tyler Hoag placing 2nd in 7:58.10.  The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Garrett Hoag, Nathan Gute, Luke Wheeler and Parker Omer then raced to a 1st place finish with a time of 1:47.24.  Owosso also went 1-2 in the 100 Backstroke with Luke Wheeler taking 1st in 1:21.36 and Nathan Gute was 2nd in 1:26.47.  Justin Svarc then finished the individual events on the night with a 3rd place finish in the 100 Breaststroke in 1:32.89.  To end the night the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Garrett Hoag, Luke Wheeler, Ross Raatz and Parker Omer finished 2nd in 4:23.97.

Owosso will travel to Williamston Thursday night for a non-conference meet.
