Girls Varsity Basketball defeats Clio on the road 36-22.  The Trojans trailed early 12-8 after the 1st quarter.  However, the Trojans wouldn't trail again after getting the lead in the second quarter, going to half leading 15-14.  The defensive pressure picked up through the 2nd half and saw the Trojans finish the 3rd up 25-17.  Owosso hit 5 of 6 from the line in the fourth and sealed the game beating the full court pressure from Clio.  
 

The Trojans, after the first quarter, finished the game on a 28-10 run through the last 3 quarters, only allowing a single basket in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.  The defense definitely got thing going and completely changed the energy in the gym.  Rebounding got stronger, passes quicker, shots started to fall, but it all changed when the defense picked up.

Kendal Anderson led the Trojans with 11, and played outstanding on both ends of the floor.  Reyn Tuttle had 9 and 8 rebounds despite constant double teams.  Peyton Spicer added 10, and 8 rebounds, while also going 6-6 from the free throw line.  Kaitlyn Cumming, Lexi Hemker, and Alaynie Drury all added 2 for the Trojans.  Sawyer Ball-Duley seeing her first action year, shook off the rust from a year absence and played very strong as well.
