The Owosso girls golf team battled through another hot and humid day on the links during the Flint Metro League Preseason Tournament. Out of the nine team field, Owosso finished the day in 6th place (498) behind Maddie Krantz’s personal best 99. Fenton showed its strength with an outstanding team total of 335, fifty-five strokes ahead of 2nd place Holly (390). Fenton’s Charlotte Cunaud took home the medalist honors touring Fenton Farms with an impressive 74. Also scoring for Owosso was Izzey Newbery (118), Ellie Feldpausch (139), and Elizabeth Tolrud (142).
