The Ladies finished conference play on Wednesday with a strong showing against 1st place Clio but dropped the match 2-3 (25-22, 18-25, 25-14, 24-26, 10-15) The Trojans held big leads in each of the first four sets but in sets 2 and 4 they failed to hold on. Set 4 in particular was very closely contended with Clio going on a late run to take force a decisive 5th set. The Trojans finished conference play in 4th place with a 5-5 record and will face off with Swartz Creek next Wednesday. Senior Kendall Ihm recorded her 1000th kill during the first set and finished with 16 kills, 4 blocks, 15 assists, 7 digs. Junior Peyton Spicer added 7 kills, 3 blocks 6 digs. Senior Brielle Sovis also had 7 kills, 20 digs, and 7 service aces, while Junior Reese Thayer posted 27 assists and 10 digs.
