After months of anticipation, our team finally ran their first cross country meet. Today was a great opportunity develop a baseline set of times for season. Our overall team scores do not fully show the growth of some of our athletes since last season. Jack Smith’s off season work ethic was apparent, as he dropped his PR time by 21 seconds. Freshman, Libby Summerland, enters the team a comparable runner to Sophomore teammate, Emma Johnson. The two will continue to push one another to success throughout the season. We look forward to continued growth as times drop weekly.
