MHSAA Pre-District May 31st, 2002 vs. Fowlerville
The Trojans opened MHSAA postseason play taking on Fowlerville in the Pre-District game at Fowlerville on Tuesday afternoon, winning 2-0. Jay Tuttle started on the mound and pitched a gem for the Trojans. Tuttle pitched 7 innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out 8. The Trojans had 7 hits in the game with Tuttle collecting 2 with an RBI. Corbin Thompson, Zach Evon, Reece Klein, Alex Krawczyk, and Hugh Doyle all collected 1 hit each. Doyle had the other RBI for the Trojans. With the win, the Trojans advance to Saturday’s District Semi-Final against Haslett on Saturday.
