WAVERLY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Owosso Soccer defeated Waverly, 1-0, in physical home game. Brieanna Wood's 50th minute goal was enough to clinch the team's first victory of the season. Wood hit a beautiful left-footed shot from outside the right-hand corner of the box into the far side netting. Our solid team performance was highlighted by the aggressive play of Bri Wood, Jillian Klaver, and Grace Perry. We look forward to continuing to improve upon tonight's performance during Friday's game against Corunna. Owosso Shots: 4 Waverly Shots: 13 Owosso Keeper Lily Usher: 11 saves Owosso JV Soccer defeated Waverly, 3-0. Goals were scored by Elizabeth McCroan, Madison Salander, and Monae Pettigrew.
