Girls Varsity Softball vs. Williamston HS School

In the district finals Owosso defeated Williamston 13-10 in a wild back and forth game. Danica Dwyer started the game but was relieved by Hrncharik in the 2nd inning. Hrncharik pitched 1 inning giving up 1 hit, struck out 3 and walked 4. Dwyer came back in the game in the 3rd to finish the game and get the win. She allowed 7 hits, struck out 4 and walked 5. Owosso came from a 6-0 deficit to score 2 runs in the 2nd, 9 runs in the 4th and 2 in the 6th. Marisa Rose was 3/4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's, Loomis had 2 hits, Sydney Somers had 2 hits and Hrncharik had 1 hit and 3 RBI's. Owosso will travel to Clio to take on Frankenmuth in the first regional game at 10:00 next Saturday.
