The Owosso boys track and field team lost both FML meets Tuesday night, going down 65-72 to Kearsley and 60-63 to Clio.  

Scoring performances included:

Hunter Blaha - took 1st against Kearsley and 2nd against Clio in the 100 m dash with a time of 12.12: took 1st against Kearsley in the 200 m dash with a time of 24.89; took 2nd against Kearsley in the 400 m dash with a PR time of 57.03

Jalen Waters - took 2nd against Kearsley and 3rd against Clio in the 100 m dash with a time of 12.23

Brandon Steinley - took 3rd against Kearsley with a PR time of 12.33

Jacob LePain - took 3rd against Kearsley in the 200 m dash with a PR time of 25.42

 Mason Collard - took 1st against both Clio and Kearsley in the 800 m run with a time of 2:05.96; took 1st in the 1600 m run against both Clio and Kearsley with a time of 5:12.96; took 2nd against Kearsley and 3rd against Clio in the 3200 m run with a time of 10:42.94

Jorden Sowash - took 2nd against Kearsley and Clio in the 800 m run with a time of 2:11.90; took 2nd against Clio and Kearsley in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:13.34; and 1st against both Clio and Kearsley in the 3200  run with a time of 10:16.93

Tyler Arriaga - took 3rd against Kearsley in the 3200 m run with a time of 11:56.16

Sam Marcotte - took 1st against Clio and 2nd against Kearsley in the 110 m hurdles with a time of 18.45; took 1st against Clio and 3rd against Kearsley in the 300 m hurdles with a time of 48.54; took 2nd against Clio in the discus with a throw of 114'2

Dylan McCallum - took 1st against Clio in the shot put with a throw of 36'7.25

John Kulhanek - took 2nd against Clio in the shot put with a throw of 35'1

Max Grettenberger - took 3rd against Clio in the shot put with a throw of 34'3

Noah Oszust - took 3rd against Clio in the discus with a PR throw of 86'0

Eddie Mishler - took 1st against Clio and Kearsley with a PR height of 5'8

Kaleb Anderson - took 2nd against Clio with a PR height of 5'4; took 2nd against Clio and Kearsley with a distance of 17'10

Jalen Waters - took 3rd against Kearsley with a jump of 17'3

The boys ran well today in bad conditions and we had several PRs throughout the meet.  I was very proud fo the effort and focus shown and look forward to seeing what we can do in good conditions. The boys will be back in action on Thursday at the Ithaca Blue and Gold Invite which starts at 2 PM at Ithaca HS.
