The Owosso boy's Track and Field team closed out the home season with a FML victory over Goodrich by a score of 69-67. We ran hard and had a lot of good times, distances and heights with more than a few PR's along the way. Scoring performances include:

Mason Brecht took 1st in the 200 m dash with a time of 25.34 and 2nd in the 100 m dash with a season best time of 12.54. 

Tyler Hufnagel took 1st in both the 110 and 300 m hurdles with times of 19.18 and 46.63 respectively.  

John Kulhanek took 1st in the shot put and 2nd in the discus with throws of 41'3 and 101'9 each.

Seth Hintz took 1st in the discus with a PR throw of 102'6.

Gavin Mecomber took 1st in the high jump with a height of 5'2.

Zachary Wieler took 1st in the long jump with a distance of 14'3.  

Charlie Goldman took 2nd in the 400 and 3rd in the 100 m dashes with times of 1:00 and 12.58.

Jack Smith took 2nd in the 3200 and 3rd in the 1600 m runs with times of 11:24.21 and 5:14.50. 

Erick Foster took 2nd in the shot put with a season best throw of 32'5.

Tristen Hoy-Johnson took 2nd in the high jump with a height of 5'0.

Gavin Holmes took 2nd in the pole vault with PR height of 8'6.  

Tyler Dewley took 3rd in the 400 m dash with a time of 1:08.84 and 3rd in the long jump with a distance of 13'5.

Elijah Voss took 3rd in the shot put with a throw of 32'1.

Corey Gates took 3d in the 3200 m run with a time of 12:19.27.

Noah Feinauer took 3rd in the 800 m run with a PR time of 2:51.65.

It was a close meet and the boys really dug down and pushed through. I'm so proud of the boys for the way they finished. We closed out our home meets with a combined record of 2-1 and the Trojans will take to the track again this Friday at O-E for the Maurader Invite where field events start at 4:00 PM.
