The Owosso Boy's Track and Field team took 6th out of 6 teams in the Stars Division of the Flint Metro League with a score of 46.5 points at the FML Championship Meet. Medal (1st and 2nd) performances included:

John Kulhanek is the 2021 Stars Division FML Champion in the discus with a season best throw of 110'7. He also took 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 41'0.

Tristen Hoy-Johnson took 2nd in the high jump with a height of 5'6.

Other scoring performances inluded:

Seth Hintz took 4th in the discus with a throw of 102'0.

Tyler Hufnagel took 4th in the 300 m hurdles and 5th in the 110 m hurdles with times of 44.82 and 18.62.

Mason Brecht took 5th in the 100 m dash and 6th in the 200 m dash with PR times of 11.81 and 56.33.

Charlie Goldman took 5th in the 400 m dash with a PR time of 56.21. 

Gavin Mecomber took 5th in the high jump with a height of 5'4.

The 4x200 m relay team of Mason Brecht, Charlie Goldman, Seth Hintz and Connor Wiley took 5th with a time of 1:42.18.

The 4x400 m relay team of Tyler Hufnagel, Charlie Goldman, Seth Hintz and Connor Wiley took 5th with a time of 3:56.78.

The Trojans will be back in action next Friday for the Regional track meet at Corunna HS. Field events will begin at 2 PM. We had a lot of PR's today and it was good to see the boys be able to compete on a perfect weather day.
