The Owosso boys track and field team beat Goodrich tonight by a score of 71-60 in a Flint Metro League dual meet. Scoring performances included:
Tyler Hufnagel took 1st in the 200 m dash, the 110 m hurdles and the 300 hurdles with times of 25.04, 16.92, and 44.31.
Gavin Mecomber took 1st in the long jump with a jump of 17’5.5 and 3rd place in both the shot put and the 110 m hurdles with a distance of 35’7.25 and a time of 19.54.
Simon Erfourth took 1st in the 3200 m run with a time of 11:21.89, 2nd in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:18.79, and 3rd in the 800 m run with a time of 2:21.99.
Isaac Williams took 1st in the discus with a PR throw of 107’11 and 2nd in the 100 m dash with a PR time of 12.18.
Max Baade took 1st in the pole vault with a height of 9’6 and 2nd in both the 200 m and 400 dashes with times of 25.48 and 55.04.
Tristan Williams took 2nd in the high jump with a height of 5’0.
Zach Rye took 2nd in the shot put and 3rd in the discus with throws of 36’10.25 and 98’05.
Zach Wieler took 3rd in the long jump with a distance of 16’2.25
Gregory Dorn took 3rd in the pole vault with a height of 6’6.
Corey Gates took 3rd in the 3200 m run with a time of 12:24.85.
Matthew Shattuck took 3rd in the 100 m dash with a season best time of 12.35.
The 4x100 m relay team of Isaac Williams, Matthew Shattuck, Anton English, and Zach Wieler took 1st with a time of 48.98.
Personal best performances included:
Jacob Powell in the 100 m dash with a time of 13.70.
Tristan Lamrouex in the 100 m dash with at time of 14.91.
Tanner Cummings in the 800 m and 1600 runs with times of 3:09.25 and 6:59.84.
Joey Kaye in the shot put with a throw of 33’9.25.
Joe Bodbyl in the shot put with a throw of 33’4.
Gabe Large in the shot put and discus with throws of 31’7 and 79’2.
Ashton White in the shot put with a throw of 24’0.5.

The Owosso boys will be competing at the Cavalier Classic on Friday at Corunna High School. Field events will begin at 3 PM and running events at 3:30. Admission is $5.
