Stephanie Bevington Ross ‘07 -

While Stephanie also played basketball for the Trojans, she is being enshrined due to her outstanding achievements on the links.  The strongest golfer our girls program has ever seen, Stephanie holds school records in all four individual scoring categories: 9-hole low score (39), 9-hole avg. (43), 18-hole low score (78), and 18-hole avg. (85.6).  During her prep career, Stephanie also earned All Big-9 First Team honors during her senior year, All-State Honorable Mention Division II her junior year, and Second Team All Big-9 her sophomore year.

For her career at EMU, she recorded 35 rounds of golf.  She walked onto Eastern Michigan University's Womens' Golf Team in the fall of 2007 and received a scholarship the following season.  Her EMU career low score was a 76 at the Hoosier Invitational and her overall scoring average was 82.0.  Her overall career low score was a 69 at the Riverwood Invitational in 2008.  Stephanie indicates that her career highlight was finishing in the Elite 8 of the Michigan Women's Amateur Tournament a mere four months after giving birth to her daughter Samantha.

Stephanie is the daughter of Terry Bevington and Kathryn Maxfield.  Terry played three years of golf at Central Michigan University.  She married Christopher Ross in 2010 and has two children, Samantha and Isaiah.
