Owosso started out hot, but couldn't keep the momentum as they lost to visiting Ionia is a non conference game 48-20.Lauren Stowe and Reyn Tuttle each scored 5 points to lead Owosso scorers. Stowe also had 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Kayleigh Hemenway played well defensively.
