The game was tied at one with Owosso Trojan  Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when an error scored one run for Owosso Trojan  Varsity.Clio got things started in the first inning when.Owosso Trojan  Varsity knotted the game up at one in the top of the fifth inning, when Reese Thayer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.After Owosso scored one run in the top of the seventh, Clio answered with one of their own. Owosso Trojan  Varsity scored when Macy Irelan grounded out, scoring one run. Clio then answered when Delaney Diment hit a solo homer.Irelan was the winning pitcher for Owosso Trojan Varsity. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out 17 and walking one.Ava Taylor took the loss for Clio. A five-run first inning led Owosso  to an 8-2 victory on Thursday. The offense in the inning came from singles by Macy Irelan, Sydney Somers, and Emily Pumford.In the first inning, Owosso got their offense started when Irelan singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Irelan took the win for Owosso The pitcher went seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out 13 and walking one.Delaney Diment took the loss for Clio. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and eight runs while striking out four.Owosso  scattered nine hits in the game. Madyson Rainey and Somers each had multiple hits for Owosso . Somers and Rainey all had two hits to lead the Trojans.Taryn Murphy went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Clio in hits.
