Owosso fell to Fowlerville, 1-5. We started the first half rather flat, stabbing at the ball numerous times. This led to many Fowlerville shooting opportunities. Most were high and wide, but they did convert for 4 first half goals. With better first half marking, 2 of the goals could easily have been stopped. We had some solid first half transition runs, but were competed overall. Elizabeth McCroan scored our lone goal in the first half, shooting from the outside left corner of the box into the far right side netting. This was certainly the best shot of her career. 

Our team regrouped well at halftime, focusing on the need to maintain composure, trust themselves, and maintain physicality. Coach Reed and I are consistently impressed by our team's ability to bump back after halftime talks and make necessary second half adjustments. We played a much more composed second half, and held our opponent to 1 late goal. Strong play was shown by many players throughout the game, but was highlighted by Onaleigh McVay, Kara Yerrick, Emily Easlick, and Rorie Babcock.
