The Trojans finished their season today at the Pohl Cat in Regional 10.  The Trojans were lead by Ryan Dahl with a 5-over par 77 which tied him for the third position to qualify in the state tournament.  Because of the tie, Ryan had to play extra holes to determine the third qualifier.  The two played number 18, a par  4.   Both players hit the fairway on the drive.  Tristan Pohl from Freeland was able to hit the green but Ryan left his second shot short of the green.  Ryan chipped to about 6-feet from the hole.  Tristan had a 15 putt which he putted twice for his par.  Ryans put had a terrific line but had just a little too much speed.  The ball went into the hole and "lipped out" leaving Ryan with a bogey and a tough defeat.  It was a great effort from a player who worked extremely hard to put himself in this position.

Everyone on the team should be celebrating a great year.  Disappointing we did not have any qualifiers but it was a great year for the Trojans with a promising future.
