The Trojans fell to the Holly Bronchos tonight by a score of 40-35.  The Trojans were lead by Carson Bornefeld with 13 points with Sam Roose adding 8 points. The Bronchos were lead by Daniel Mathews with 12 points.  The Bronchos have moved ot 1 and 3 and the Trojans fell to 0-3. 

In the game, the Trojans got off to a 5-0 start but the Bronchos Ben Grander answered with a four point play to start the Bronchos on an 11-0 run to end the quarter with an 11-5 lead.  The Bronchos maintained the lead and entered the halft-time with a 19-13 lead. 

The game was tied at 20 early in the third quarter when Carson Bornefeld picked up his third foul.  During the time he was out, the Bronchos went on an 8-0 run.  The Trojans were able to pull within 1 point when Sam Roose made a 3-point basket late in the fourth, but Daniel Matthews followed with a three of his own to put the Bronchos back up four.  The Trojans were able to keep the game at a one possession game for most of the remainder of the game but Matthews was a perfect four for four at the end in the closing minute to keep the Trojans at bay.

The Trojans travel to Brandon for an away conference game on Friday night.
