GOODRICH HIGH SCHOOL: 67
The Trojans opened the season tonight against a very good Goodrich team which defeated the Trojans 67-29. The Trojans executed well in the first half but could not knock down the shots when they had them. Freshman Jay Tuttle lead the Trojans with seven points while connecting on two 3-point shots. Seniors Hunter Blaha and Charles Poag each contributed six points in the effort.
Goodrich had three players score in double figures with Colby Wiggins leading the team with 15. Tyson Davis added 12 points and Aidan Rubio added 10.
The Trojans will play Tuesday night at Owosso High School against Fenton in a Flint Metro League matchup.
