The Trojans defeated Corunna tonight at Owosso High School by a score of 48-47.  It was an exciting night of high school basketball.  The game was close all throughout the game.  After the first period, the score was tied at nine and at the end of two periods, Owosso held on to a 2-point lead.  Corunna had a strong third period and began the fourth quarter with a four point lead (38-34).  The fourth quarter saw the Trojans come back and take the lead. With the score tied at 47 and 15 seconds left on the clock, Kaleb Anderson drove to the basket and was fouled.  He hit one of the two free throws to give the Trojans a 1-point lead.  Corunna got a shot up but missed and the ball went out of bounds with 2.5 seconds left and Corunna retaining possession.  A missed 3-pointer at the buzzer sealed the victory for the Trojans. 

The Trojans made 18 field goals in the game and had assists on 14 of the baskets!  Scoring for the Trojans were:

Kaleb Anderson - 13 points

Hunter Blaha - 10 points and 9 rebounds

Eddie Mishler - 8 points and 10 rebounds

Charles Poag - 6 points (all in the fourth quarter)

Peyton Fields - 5 points

Jay Tuttle and Taylor Lamrouex - 3 points each
