Owosso Varsity Boys Basketball took on Clio High School in their rescheduled contest from 1/14/22. The Trojans came out victorious with a 51-46 win. Leading scorers for the Trojans were Cody Fields with 17 points, followed by Andrew Lewis with 12 and Chrishaun Bates with 10. Owosso played with a lot of effort on both ends of the floor. The game was a back and forth with Clio Holding the lead 6-10 at the end of the first quarter. Owosso then took the lead heading into halftime 20-16. After a very tight played third quarter the game was tied 34-34. The fourth quarter came down to all heart and effort and who wanted to win more and the kids were able to come up with a lot of loose balls while making free throws down the stretch.
