DURAND AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 38
The Trojans opened the season tonight vs Durand. In a game of runs, Durand escaped with 38-37 victory. The Trojans took a couple minutes to shake off the rust, but climbed back from an 8-0 hole to take a 15-12 lead into the half, The 3rd quarter saw the Trojans extend the lead to 29-20. In the 4th, it was Durand that got a couple shots to fall and take the game 38-37
Peyton Spicer opened the season with a very strong game, grabbing 12 rebounds to go with 15 points. Skotti Ball-Duley added 9 points. Reese Thayer was a spark off the bench with 7 points and 3 steals. Lexi Hemper added 4 points, Kendall Anderson 2 points
The Tojans head to Goodrich on Friday night.
