The Girls Swim and Dive Team traveled to Williamston to compete in the 5 team Williamston Invitational.  The team displayed great early season form and won the meet in dominant fashion scoring 724 points, Ionia was second with 511, Eaton Rapids took third with 412 followed by Williamston at 394 and Charlotte with 256.  The team showed both tremendous talent and depth separating themselves from the other teams. The team won 8 of 13 events and brought home 30 medals by having swimmers place in the top 3.  

The first event was diving where Katie Clevenger got the team started by taking the win and Emma Livingston dove for the first time finishing 6th.

Next was the IM relay where the Trojans placed two relays team in the top 3.  The team of Lily Davis, Alexis Chamberlin, Macy Irelan and Lily Espinoza got the win, while the team of Kate Grinnell, LIly Usher, Amanda Brainerd and Sophie Voss came in 3rd. 

The third event was the 50 fly.  Mya LaMay lead the way placing 3rd, Madisyn Ketchum finished  8th and Madison Kregger took 9th. 

In the 100 fly Allie Pumford got another win for Owosso and Macy Irelan finished 3rd.  

The 5th event saw many swimmers in the pool.  The medley relay team of Davis, Espinoza, Voss and Brainerd touched 1st. The team of Hannah Yerrian, Madisyn Ketchum, Emily Pumford and Kregger finished 5th and the team of Brooklynn Crackel Cali Spalding, Alyson Shane and Liz Vreibel finished 7th. 

In the 50 backstroke Grinnell touched the wall for another win for Owosso, Chamberlin just behind taking 2nd and Crackel was 7th.

In the 100 back Irelan finished 1st, Usher was 4th and Davis was 5th.

The swimmers took a break while the diving relay the team of Clevenger and Livingston got another win.  

In the 50 free LaMay finished 3rd, Emily Pumford touched 5th and Yerrian was 8th.

The 100 free saw Allie Pumford touch 3rd, Grinnell was 5th and Chamberlin was 6th.  

In the 50 breaststroke Voss was 2nd while Spalding took 8th and Shane touched 9th.

The 12th event was the 100 breaststroke where Espinoza got the final win for Owosso , Brainerd finished 3rd and Ketchum took 11th.

The final event was the 200 free relay.  The team of LaMay, Usher, Clevenger and A. Pumford took 3rd, E. Pumford, Kregger, Shane and Spalding touched 4th, and Yerrian, Crackel, Vreibel and Gwen Millar touched 6th.
