Owosso traveled to Linden to compete in the first of three Flint Metro League jamborees. After the third race the results of the three jamborees will be combined to determine overall conference results. With the addition of Corunna, Lake Fenton, and Goodrich to the FML this year, 12 teams competed today. Owosso girls finished in 8th place today while the boys took 9th. The top finisher for the girls was Emma Johnson, who finished in 28th place with a time of 22:34. Brieanna Wood, Claire Drake, and Paige Box all cut significant time off of their season best times. Jorden Sowash had a great race for the boys and sprinted his way into a 2nd place finish with a time of 16:41. Mason Collard also had a good showing and was able to earn a 13th place finish.
