Early Lead For Richmond Seals Fate For Owosso Trojan Varsity
Owosso Trojan Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-2 loss to Richmond on Sunday. Richmond took the lead on a home run in the second inning.
Richmond got things started in the second inning. Emily Tackaberry hit a solo homer.
Shea VanScoter led the Richmond to victory in the circle. The bulldog allowed two hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 11.
Macy Irelan took the loss for Owosso Trojan Varsity. The pitcher surrendered four runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out 17.
Sydney Somers and Lexi Hemker all had one hit to lead Owosso Trojan Varsity.
