Big Third Inning Propels Owosso Trojan Varsity Win Over Flushing Owosso  knocked in seven runs in the third on its way to an 11-1 victory over Flushing on Monday. Madyson Rainey, Nevaeh Ginger, Lexi Hemker, and Macy Irelan all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.In the bottom of the second inning, Owosso  tied things up at one when Reese Thayer drew a walk, scoring one run.Owosso  pulled away for good with seven runs in the third inning. In the third Rainey drew a walk, scoring one run, Ginger doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Hemker singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, and Irelan drew a walk, scoring one run.Irelan led the Trojans to victory in the pitcher's circle. Irelan went six innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out 11 and walking zero.Taylor Fleury took the loss for Flushing. Fleury went five innings, allowing 11 runs on ten hits and striking out two.Owosso  tallied ten hits. Irelan, Reyn Tuttle, Hemker, and Ginger each had multiple hits for Owosso . Ginger, Hemker, Tuttle, and Irelan each collected two hits to lead Owosso 

Game 2

Owosso wins in 3 innings against Flushing 18-0.  Irelan got the win.  Jamie Maier was 3 for 3 at the plate.Reyn Tuttle, Sydney Somers, Brionna Sarnik,  and Irelan each had 2 hits.  Owosso moves to 13-1 in league ans 14 -2 overall.
