Owosso Trojan Varsity Blows Away Corunna By Ten Runs
Owosso had everything working on Thursday, winning big over Corunna 11-1
Owosso opened up scoring in the first inning, when Reyn Tuttle grounded out, scoring one run.
Owosso notched three runs in the sixth inning. Macy Irelan and Tuttle each drove in runs during the inning.
Irelan got the win for Trojan . The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over six innings, striking out 13 and walking one.
Bridget Ryon took the loss for Corunna. Ryon lasted six innings, allowing nine hits and 11 runs while striking out six and walking zero.
The Trojans had nine hits in the game. Lexi Hemker, Jamie Maier, Irelan, and Nevaeh Ginger all managed multiple hits for Owosso . Ginger, Irelan, Maier, and Hemker each managed two hits to lead Owosso
Kira Patrick led Corunna with one hit in three at bats.
