Four RBI Day For Madyson Rainey Leads Owosso Past Pewamo-Westphalia

Madyson Rainey drove in four on three hits to lead the Trojans  past Pewamo-Westphalia 12-2 on Saturday. Rainey drove in runs on a single in the first, a triple in the second, and a double in the third.

Owosso opened up scoring in the first inning. they scored one run when Reyn Tuttle singled.

Macy Irelan earned the win for Owosso . The pitcher went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out nine and walking zero. Mara LaHaine threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

L Martin took the loss for Pewamo-Westphalia. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing 14 hits and 12 runs while striking out four.

Owosso totaled 14 hits in the game. Rainey, Tuttle, Irelan, and Nevaeh Ginger all managed multiple hits for the Trojans Tuttle and Rainey each collected three hits to lead Owosso.

Game 2

Late Score Costs Owosso Trojan Varsity Against Lake Orion

Owosso stayed in it until the end, but Lake Orion pulled away late in a 2-1 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at one with Lake Orion batting in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored one run for Lake Orion.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Lake Orion pitchers struck out four, while Owosso sat down 13.

Lake Orion knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning. Lake Orion scored one run when Paisley Stevens singled.

Lauren Smith led the Lake Orion to victory on the rubber. Smith went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one Macy Irelan took the loss for Owosso . The righty allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out 13 and walking one.

Lexi Hemker, Karley Kincaid, and Madyson Rainey all had one hit to lead Owosso .

Macy Throws Shutout As Owosso  Defeats Mount Pleasant

Macy Irelan shut down Mount Pleasant, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Owosso to a 10-0 victory on Saturday

The Trojans opened up scoring in the first inning, when R Zeroski induced Madyson Rainey to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Owosso put up four runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught by was led by Irelan and Sydney Somers, all driving in runs in the inning.

A triple by C Dole in the second inning was a positive for Mount Pleasant.

Irelan pitched Owosso to victory. The righty allowed one hit and zero runs over six innings, striking out 13 and walking zero.

Zeroski took the loss for Mount Pleasant. The hurler went five and two-thirds innings, allowing ten runs on eight hits and striking out one.

The Trojans collected eight hits on the day. Irelan, Jamie Maier, and Somers all collected multiple hits for Owosso  Somers, Maier, and Irelan all had two hits to lead Owosso.  The Trojans didn't commit a single error in the field. Karley Kincaid had the most chances in the field with 13.

Dole went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Mount Pleasant in hits.

Lake Orion won the tournament 3-0
