Owosso wins contest against New Lothrop, 5-1
The Trojans tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Owosso batters contributing to the big inning included Macy Irelan and Madyson Rainey, all driving in runs in the frame.
Irelan earned the victory on the rubber for Owosso. The righthander surrendered one run on one hit over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.
J Hembesburg took the loss for New Lothrop. Hembesburg surrendered two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out two.
