Game 1

 Owosso Trojan Varsity Defeats Portland St Pats In A Blow-Out Victory

The Trojans had all cylinders firing on offense on Saturday, winning big over Portland St Pats 10-2

In the first inning, Owosso  got their offense started. Macy Irelan drove in two when Irelan doubled.

Irelan led the Trojans to victory in the pitcher's circle. The righty allowed three hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 16.

C Scheurer took the loss for Portland St Pats. The pitcher surrendered seven runs on five hits over three innings, striking out two.

Owosso collected ten hits. Irelan, Jamie Maier, and Reese Thayer all collected multiple hits  Thayer, Maier, and Irelan each collected two hits to lead the Trojans. Owosso  tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Maier led the way with two.

Game 2

Irelan Throws No-Hitter As the Trojans Defeat Portland High School

Macy Irelan was brilliant on the rubber on Saturday, as Irelan threw a no-hitter to lead Owosso  past Portland High School 16-0.

Jamie Maier led Owosso  to victory by driving in five runs. Maier went 3-for-3 at the plate. Maier drove in runs on a single in the first, a triple in the second, and a double in the third.

The Trojans got things started in the first inning when Reyn Tuttle singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Owosso put up six runs in the third inning. The offense in the inning was led by Kendall Anderson, Maier, and Nevaeh Ginger, who all drove in runs.

Irelan took the win for Owosso . The righthander lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 13 and walking one.

Jayden Townsend took the loss for Portland High School. The hurler surrendered 16 runs on 15 hits over five innings, striking out two.

Owosso had 15 hits in the game. Irelan, Maier, Tuttle, Karley Kincaid, and Anderson each collected multiple hits for the Trojans. Maier and Irelan each collected three hits to lead Owosso
