The women's tennis team had their debut match of the season at Durand today. Despite minimal days of favorable weather to train in this season so far the Trojans gave up great performances on the court, but couldn't pull out the team win. 1st singels Ellie Feldpausch won in straight sets 6-1 6-1 over Emma Warren. Kami Bowles who stepped up to 3rd singles defeated Wynn Carptenter in a grueling three set match 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. The final win for the Trojans came in at 2nd doubles with Amanda Brainerd and Paige Box defeating Chloe Whitney and Ally Fraley 6-2, 6-4. The team is back in action at Ovid-Elsie on Thursday night.
