Owosso traveled to Ithaca today to compete in the Blue and Gold Invitational. Our girls' team scored 20 points on the evening and finished in 12th out of 16 teams. Lexi Martenis was the MVP of the meet scoring 14 points by herself in just two events. Lexi set a personal record mark of 15'11" in long jump and won first place! In the 100m dash she was able to earn a 5th place medal with a time of 13.42, just .21 seconds from 2nd place. Other scorers included Madison Livingston with 4 points on two 7th place finishes in shot put and discus and Allie Pumford with a 7th place finish in pole vault. We had many other season and personal records on the evening despite the rainy conditions. Great jog girls!
