The Trojans traveled to Mt. Morris for the Girls Individuals Tournament the week before Christmas.  A storm was predicted to hit Michigan hard today, but the mat's were hit harder as our Trojans dominated the 170 bracket sweeping the show by taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place with skillful displays of technique and many powerful pins.

Newcomer Jaylin English displayed discipline, grit, and strength by pinning many of her opponents in 30 seconds or less and taking 3rd place in the tournament.

Daily practice partners Paige Heise and Hannah Hart had a showdown for 1st place.  A climatic ending for the day as the two went toe to toe with Paige scoring a pin late in the 2nd period.

Congrats to 1st place Paige Heise, 2nd Place Hannah Hart, and 3rd Place Jaylin English on a phenomonal performance.

The Trojans take a much deserved break until their next home meet on January 4th, 2023.
