On Saturday the Girls Swim and Dive Team competed in the second day of the State Finals at Oakland University. The girls had outstanding performances across the board on Friday in the preliminaries. The team advanced the Medley Relay team of Macy Irelan, Lily Espinoza, Allie Pumford and Mya LaMay. Allie Pumford advanced in the 200 and 100 free. Katie Clevenger advanced in diving. After such a great day on Friday it was hard for girls to preform even better on Saturday. They competed hard but were not quite as sharp on Saturday but still placed very well. The Medley Relay placed 16th, Allie placed 15th in the 200 free and 12th in the 100 free and Katie finished 5th in diving. Katie earned All-State honors by placing in the top 8. The team ended up placing 24th out of 71 division 3 swim teams.
