Owosso started off the football week with a nice JV win at Clio on Thursday Night. That was followed up by a solid showing and Homecoming Victory for the Varsity on Friday. The defense stepped up and allowed only one Mustang score on the night. The offense picked up from where they left off last week, but eliminated a load of mistakes that haunted them the last 2 weeks. The Trojans ran for over 400 yards and threw for almost another 100 while driving up and down the field all evening. Ted Worthington led the ground game with 129 yards and a TD on 14 carries. Noah Crites and Charles Goldman both chipped in 94 yards of their own and each had a TD. Tim Felver chipped in 77 rushing yards and Shore BeDen went 3-6 passing, including 2 TD passes to Branix Pakosz. Crites led the defense with 10 tackles and an INT while Pakosz hustled 7 tackles and a QB Sack. The Trojans will be at Corunna on Friday.
