Week 2 Owosso @ Mt. Morris 

The Trojans traveled to Mt. Morris Thursday night and came away with a thrilling 34-32 victory. Mt. Morris took the lead midway through the 4th quarter before the Trojans drove down for the go ahead score. Trailing by 2, Mt. Morris drove down the field to the 4-yard line before the Trojans stopped them on the final play of the game. For the night, Hoyt Patrick had 16 carries for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns while Liam Patrick rushed 14 times for 62 yards with 2 touchdowns. Austin Blaha entered the game at quarterback in the 4th quarter and engineered a scoring drive, rushing 4 times for 32 yards and a touchdown. Liam Patrick was 5 for 12 passing for 98 yards with 2 interceptions. Daniel Wittum had 4 receptions for 61 yards, Teegan Passinault had 2 receptions for 36 yards and Santi Aguirre had 1 reception for 18 yards. 

Defensively, Hoyt Patrick led the Trojans with 12 tackles, 1 sack, a forced fumble, and 2 tackles for loss. In addition, Joe Bodyl had 7 tackles and Weston Yoho had an interception for the Trojans. The Trojans are now 2-0 and travel to Clio next week in their first Flint Metro League contest.
