This weekend, both the Boys Wrestling Team and Girls Wrestling Team showcased impressive performances. In the Flint Metro League finals, team captain Zach Rye demonstrated his skill by securing 2nd place only barely being outdone by last years state champion.
Meanwhile, at the Midland competition, the Girls Team excelled with team captain Hannah Hart securing 3rd place, backed up by Onna West achieving 2nd place, Jewlez Easlick taking 4th, and both Amara Pakkala and Emily Linker each earning 6th place. Several wrestlers scored their first Varsity win of the season!
The collective success of the Girls Team reflected in their remarkable 11th place out of 60 teams. These achievements highlight the dedication, talent, and hard work of both teams, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment within the wrestling community
