Taylor Lamrouex singled in the bottom of the 7th inning to give the Trojan’s a dramatic 3-2 victory over Corunna in game 1 on Friday. A pitcher’s duel ruled the game as both teams got solid outings from their starting pitching. Luke Wheeler pitched all 7 innings for the Trojans, striking out 6 and giving up 3 hits. The Trojans mustered 4 hits with Thomas Trecha getting a key hit in the 7th inning that scored a run and Brenden VanEffen, Wheeler, and Lamrouex all collected 1 hit.
