The Trojans Varsity Baseball team dropped a tough game to Williamston at Davenport University on Wednesday night, 12-7. The Trojans battled back to take the lead in the 6th inning, before surrendering 6 runs in the bottom half of the inning. Wyatt Leland pitched well for the Trojans surrendering 5 hits and striking out 2. The Trojans collected 10 hits in the game with Joey Wagner, Braden Triggs and Colton Blaha each slugging 2 hits in the loss.
The Trojans got down early and couldn’t come back as they fell to Williamston in game 2, 13-3. Ben Welz started on the mound for the Trojans, giving up 10 hits and striking out 3. Luke Wheeler, Joey Wagner, Taylor Lamrouex, Ben Welz, Braden Triggs, and Wyatt Leland all had 1 hit for the Trojans.
