The Trojans jumped out on top in game 1 and led 1-0 until the 3rd inning when Swartz Creek scored 3 runs in the top half of the inning to take the lead for good. Swartz Creek added 3 more runs to take the win, 6-1. Luke Wheeler had another solid outing for the Trojans on the mound, pitching 6 innings before John Meihls pitched the final 3 outs. The Trojans had 5 hits in the game with Wheeler, Meihls, Chris Carmody, Joey Wagner, and Taylor Lamrouex all singling for the Trojans.
