Game 1 vs. Brandon April 19th
The Trojans defeated Brandon in game 1, 13-4 on Wednesday afternoon behind the strong pitching from senior Hugh Doyle. Doyle pitched 6 innings, scattering 4 hits and striking out 6. Hayden Smith closed the 7th inning for the Trojans on the mound. Daniel Wittum had 2 hits for the Trojans, including a double. Senior Jay Tuttle launched his second home run of the season, a grand slam in the 7th inning. Also collecting hits on the day were Corbin Thompson, Hugh Doyle, Hoyt Patrick, and Carson Moore. The Trojans return home on Friday to finish the series with Brandon.
