What a super soaked day for a race!  The boys XC team traveled to the Greater Lansing Championship race in Grand Ledge on Saturday morning. It rained the entire time we were there, and parts of the grounds were completely flooded. These unfavorable conditions didn’t stop Simon Erfourth from taking 3 seconds off his PR with an impressive time of 17:24!  This placed him in 24th overall, and he also was awarded a medal!  Following was Max Baade, who ran a strong race, and came in 119th out of 230 runners.  Ariston Dallas keeps chipping away at his personal record by taking another second off his best time, finishing at 20:15.  Other runners who ran strong in these cold, windy, and sloppy conditions were Charlie Agnew 20:29 , Liam Weir 22:40, and Charlie Nolph with a time of 22:41. The team placed 25th out of 32 teams, and I am proud of them for all their determination. The boys continue to make great strides, and I am looking forward to seeing them race again this Wednesday, when they compete in the last FML Jamboree in Mt. Morris.
